My old tempurpedic bed was no longer giving me the comfort and support I needed and I had another, more affordable foam mattress in the guest room, so I decided to swap them. The "new" one was so firm but with the topper it was so much more comfortable. Obviously I would rather have a tempurpedic mattress but it wasn't affordable for me. I'm happy

This is the best Topper ever. I am have total shoulder replacement on both shoulders later this year because both are now bone on bone. I am a side-sleeper, but now the pain wakes me up after an hour or two. Lying on my back with my arms above my head seems to be the only position that is not painful...until I got the TEMPUR-Adapt Topper! Now I can sleep on my side most of the night before I need to change positions. I can't wait to find out how great sleeping will be once both shoulder surgeries are done and the pain is gone!
